Can you "ohh" and "aww" too much over a friend's baby?

Our couple friends had a baby we got to meet today, and it's the first friends we have that have a baby. I couldn't get enough of the baby; she was so cute, and happy, and clearly smart. Are the parents likely happy or at least fine with this, because they are proud to have such an amazing baby, or was it rude to be distracted by baby?

I suppose you can "ooh and aww" too much over a friend's baby, but if one is sincere about it, then that should not be a problem. Babies can be amazing.

Well, yes. You can overdo anything. I especially get annoyed when people make the "orgasm voice"? "Uhhh... he's so ("oh God") so CUTE!" "Ahhhh. take me home... she's so precious!" "Woww. she so MARVY!, Ahhh".
