Scared to show mom grades?

in my biology class, I have a B+, as well as my History and Algebra class, the rest are A's. I used to have an A in biology but we just took final exams. There's no other assignments. I've never considered a B+ bad, but this year if I've had anything below an A- my mother has flipped. She screams calls me stuff and she's flipped me off before, she's only been violent a couple of times and it was nothing too serious but it was still scary. I'd rather avoid that. I've been told before the 2 semesters average out but I'm not sure how to find that average, help?

Update:

Edit: I'm already grounded all summer for a B+ in History which is the only B+ she knows about???

Your mother is inappropriate and violence is NEVER appropriate no matter if its only a few times. She may have some mental health issues, actually. however you will have her as your mom for life so you will need to develop a strategy to cope with this. The grade is not bad at all, and pretty good. An A is not a guarantee to anything and a B+ is no failure at all. You need to tell yourself that and believe it. Your sense of self worth will come from with in. If you need to talk to someone about the whole encounter, try to see if there is someone at your school you can speak frankly with-counselor or another teacher. Eventually, you will be on your own.
