do Led power lights on computers Burn out?
I noticed my L E D power light no longer lights up it only lt flashes when something is loading websites computer programs and at start up and shut down. not a big deal but just curious

The most likely explanation of what you are seeing is the LED use has been re-assigned in software. So previously it may have been assigned to indicate power on and now it has been assigned to disk usage.
This can only happen if the LED is wired to the output of a chip/microcontroller rather than hard-wired to a particular circuit.

LEDs usually have a life expectancy between 20,000 and 50,000 hours depending on the type of bulb. If you ran it for about 10 hours a day, you'd be looking at an average of 5.7 to 13 years. Depending on use, it is very possible that the LED could've burned out. Hope this helps!

If it flashes then it is not burnt out. If it were burnt out it would do nothing.

Yes they can go out. They are supposed to last 100,000 hours but then not all will be perfect.
