So it's almost father's day, and I have a schizophrenic father that I have been avoiding all year. Any advice?

He hasn't been taking his medication for months. He got fired from his job of 15 years 2 months ago after he stopped taking his meds. I feel a deep pit in my stomach of pure disgust and dread just thinking about visiting him. I can't stand listening to him talking about his victim complex anymore. It just makes me want to cry to continue to listen to him.

Do you have any advice on how to deal or talk with him? Do you have any relatives like this?

    If hes negatively impacting your life I'd avoid him.
