    1. Use your time well. You have a lot of time between classes, in the evenings, and on weekend. SCHEDULE homework time every single day.

    2. Homework before socializing. Whether you are attending a club meeting, attending a football game, or partying, get your homework done BEFORE your social event whenever possible. If it is party or drinking event, accept that you will NOT be up for homework after the event.

    3. Pick and choose. You don't have to go to every single social event and you certainly don't have to drink. Kids get into trouble because they start partying four nights a week. Don't. Look ahead at your social opportunities and decide which ones to attend and whether or not to drink, etc. based on your homework load.

It's a matter of managing your time and staying on top of assignments. If you do so, there should be time for both.

For instance, if the professor assigns you to research and write a paper, start the research early in the semester and take notes. A couple of weeks before the assignment is due you should already be working on the draft. That way, you're not rushed toward the end. It also will let you know how much time you have for social activities.

The correct answer is, "What social life?" If you have to work and attend college, there really is no social life except for those who are not going to make it to the end of the semester. All those movie parties are a big joke.

One person told me the students were too busy screwing around. We watch allot of these students wondering in two-o-clock in morning.
