Unknown Tree Seedling?
I have been trying to figure out what type of tree this is for weeks. I have searched and searched everywhere, but no one/nothing seems to know. Someone PLEASE tell me what these are.
I assume they are some sort of evergreen, with the needle-like bits, but I can't find any images of evergreen seedlings that look anything like these.
I found them growing in a garden in Northeast Ohio. None of the trees near the garden matched these seedlings. They only seemed to want to grow around okra (idk if that matters).
I have 11 of these. I'm trying to grow a border (similar to a cypress tree border) between yards and i need to know if these will work.
Please help me!
(Note: Seedling behind it is the same)

They are not trees but Cosmos flowers. I grow them in England. They die off in the winter.

I don't know what they are but they look more like annuals than perennials to me.
