It says, under Events of book three: "Friday 23 May: Maisie returns to the city. Charlie finds out that he is descended from Mathonwy on his mother's side of the family, meaning that the wand he 'borrowed' from Skarpo is actually his." That suggests genealogical information has been shared. It looks to be about two-thirds of the way through the third book.
