what is the difference between on and enabled?

when something is turned on and when something is enabled

    I believe they mean the exact same; you enable something to have access to it while you turn something on like a feature or a button. It doesn’t matter, you have access to it.

    on a machine they are the same..in life a enabler makes the course open for someone else

    on is when the thing is ready to be used now; an example is a light switch...when it's turned on, the light is on.......enabled is different; example: when you go to start a car, you turn the key to the "on" position, then to "start"...when the key is "on" the ignition is enabled, but won't start the car til the key is turned to start
