i did a windows 10 upgrade from 1709 to 1803 and im stuck on the windows logon screen, could someone help?

i click my profile and input my password but it doesnt go into windows, it goes back to where i have to choose a profile. No errors are said. I tried entering a wrong password and it tells me its wrong, but when i enter the right one it just goes back to the logon screen again.

Im currently asking here and at microsoft for help. Any advice is appreciated.

    You may be able to roll back to the previous version. At the log on screen hold down the shift key and press restart, this will get you to advanced boot option, troubleshooting where they may be a roll back option. You can only do this within 10d of the upgrade
