Depends on how much you smoke; needless to say the amount that is actually gonna do you bad. Try to keep it at a minimum or exclude it altogether from your life, it's a drug after all.

The damage was done to your brain when you first started smoking weed at age 13 because your brain was still in the development stage and wasn't fully matured. This brain damage will affect you for the rest of your life and the damage can't be corrected. You helped yourself by stopping smoking weed and being clean for 5 years. May I suggest not smoking or vaping ever. Use edibles, oils, tinctures, and never smoke weed again. Minors aren't allowed to purchase weed for smoking for the reason weed messes up the developing brain when it's smoked. There's an epidemic of minors smoking and vaping weed, and they either don't know it messes up their brain or the don't care and just want to avoid life and stay high all day. You learned this fact maybe 5 years ago when you stopped. Now do your part and inform others, especially those under the age of 21 they are damaging their brain by smoking or vaping weed.

If you need to ask about weed causing brain damage, then it's already too late.
