    volume = πr²h = π7²1 = 147.7 in³

    $13.99 / 147.7 in³ = $0.095/ in³

    $1 / $0.095/ in³ = 10.6 in³

    Think of the pizza as a cylinder.

    The formula is:

    V = πr²h

    The diameter is 14 inches, so the radius (r) is 7 inches. The height is 1 inch.

    V = π•7²•1

    V = 49π

    V ≈ 154 cubic inches

    Dividing the cost (13.99) by the volume (154 cubic inches) you get the cost per cubic inch.

    ~$0.091 / cubic inch

    And the other way:

    154 cubic inch / $13.99

    ~ 11 cubic inches per $1

    V = 49π in^3

    i) $13.99/[49π]

    ≈ 9.09 cents/in^3

    ii) 49π/13.99 =

    11 in^3/$
