I have a 2000 pontiac grand am stock radio not working?
When i got the car it had gotten a aftermarket radio taken out and the stock put back in and now i cant get audio lights or anything to work on it i checked the fuses and relays and didnt find any that were bad any ideas i tried the radio in my truck and the radio works great bit i put it in the grand am it wont even turn on any ideas

The wiring has been altered to suit the radio you removed and it's wrong for the stock one. Get your meter and check the power wire and ground in the Pontiac. You might need to look in Chilton's auto manual for the color code to verify how the wiring is .

Check for power and ground at the connector with key on ACC or ON with a test light.
