Why do we need love? Like we don’t need love to reproduce or live. We can just nut inside a woman and boom, there’s a new human. And please don’t say ‘because love is a beautiful thing’ like yeah I get it but that feeling had to come for a necessary reason.

Because we are social animals and cooperation increases our odds of survival. In prehistoric world, cooperation meant strength in numbers, and that means we were better able to defend ourselves against predators. It also made us more effective hunters. Our evolutionary ancestors were selected to feel the emotion of love because those individuals were more likely to cooperate, and in turn more likely to survive.
Also, it's a beautiful thing.

We need love because your children need love, to grow up and be nice humans. We need love as we grow up and thats how in most cases how society works.
Most people criminals had no love, so they are stone cold, they rape/kill/maim/rob/steal whatever because they had $hi77y upbringings.
Love in a family teaches you to be nice humans towards each other and humans actually rely on others being nice to each other.
Yes we could bang this girl and bang that girl like but thats not how we work, humans want the love, humans want the society because we are social beings.
We aint the shitty insects like ants where all males go rape the queen.
