Help, I have a liberal friend and he claims my gf isn't white just because her hair is brown. What is wrong with libs?

Question

So my GF is a German immigrant, but she has brown hair. She told me that quite a few in Germany have brown hair and it doesn't mean they aren't white.

But my liberal friend keeps making fun of me because I am a white conservative and he claims my GF is half black or some nonsense. 
This is my GF, please back me up here.

We don't really care whether your girlfriend is "white" (whatever it means) or not, but the fact you're so obsessed about the fact that we question your girlfriend's whiteness is what makes it funny and encourages the troll.

Your GF looks white, or maybe she has a small amount of Persian or something in her. But who cares as she is likely 10x hotter than anything your friend could get.
