Does the mass shooting in Toronto Canada show that gun control can never work?

The mass shooting in Canada only proves that when you take guns away from honest citizens, only criminals will have guns. Do you agree?

    Yes. The most prolifically gun violent regions in this country are places with the strictest gun control laws. It lets criminals know that the people have no defense in these areas and so they can act with impunity.

    Gun control has already worked in many ways. One incident does not negate that.

    If you can’t solve your hunger permanently, then it’s not worth eating? Just because a problem doesn’t have a perfect universal solution, doesn’t mean we don’t have to keep working at it.

    Isolated examples don't have any bearing on overall trends.

    The gun homicide rate in Canada is 0.61 while in the US it is 4.62.

    That is over 7.5 times the homicide rate in the US.
