No, I am not tuned to do such things.
We are all individualistic, meaning that we are all different in thinking.
Our minds are as different as our finger prints -
no two are identical. Palmistry also says the same
thing. Every human is unique. Not only do our
organs differ, but our personalities differ. Each
human develops different goals, and has special
traits or feelings which differ in a million
different ways from others.
Significant differences exist between the male and female brains. Although what follows has been meticulously gathered from the research and writings of leading scientists and psychologists, it is by no means a hard and fast rule or description of every man and every woman. Every person is different and unique.

Everyone is different no matter what, although there are some people who are similar but not the same.

able to entertain a thought without accepting it." Listening to
others' ideas may not be easy, but it could be an valuable way to

Only 10% of India's population lives in cities.
We try to lean so many modern things like computers, internet, advanced business techniques, personal communications techniques, management strategies, and many more.

Hard determinism only clouds the mind if we are enslaved to thinking we are free, then those who believe that they have no control over life are going through life making decisions based on what they perceive as pre-determined. To say we have a path set for us is to make us no more than a robot, and because robots cannot discuss topics intelligently and cannot act intelligently in situations proves that theory wrong.

Liking something is controlled by emotional mind - the right brain.
http://psychology.about.com/od/cognitivepsychology...
Emotion has usually, in the European- American tradition, been seen as the opposite of reason; the definitions provided in the Oxford English Dictionary emphasize emotion as agitation, perturbation, and ‘feeling’ or ‘affection’ — as distinguished from cognitive or volitional states of consciousness. Philosophically this split became entrenched through the thought of Rene Descartes, with his famous ‘I think, therefore I am’. Emotion has thus come to be associated with the body the way reason has been associated with the mind.

9 AnswersPhilosophy9 years agoImportance of questions What? How? Why?
When some thing happens, three questions arise - what,
how and why.
You will get an answer to the first question within a
short period of time. It is physical in nature.
You have to spend more time to answer the second
question. It is mental in nature.
Different persons may give different answers for the
third question. They reconcile their memories with their
beliefs and values. But you will never get a true answer
for it - it is philosophical in nature.

Is philosophy still relevant to the present day world?
Yes.
Take for example the effect of red color on mind. Hindu Yoga books are describing it since a few thousands of years. Para-psychology books dealt with that topic in detail. But all that was brushed off as para-science, and not authentic science. Of late, modern science had to accept it.

2 AnswersPhilosophy1 decade agoPhilosophically speaking, can you call some persons as good for nothing?
Our interests and behavioral dispositions are as unique as our fingerprints.
Even within a family, one’s way of being happy may not be the same with another. One, for example, may find that he is happier when he is in a contemplative mood and his twin brother, steeped in group laughter and fun, may find solitary disposition rather boring.
We notice that the differences grow bigger when one has to deal with people from other cultures.
http://awate.com/unique-as-our-fingerprints/
Humans are free to do what they want, without this freedom there could be no morality. In such a case, no basis for what could be deemed as good or bad behavior in the eyes of a God because without freewill we would just be pre-programmed unable to change or alter what has already been laid out in front of us. There are only two things certain in each one of our lives, we live, and then we die, everything in between is up to the individual.

2 AnswersMythology & Folklore1 decade agoWhat is the sociological difference between the words 'common' and normal'?
Common
happening often and to many people or in many places
http://www.ldoceonline.com/dictionary/common_1
Normal
Functioning or occurring in a natural way
http://education.yahoo.com/reference/dictionary/en...
http://encarta.msn.com/encnet/features/dictionary/...
It is becoming quite common to have a poor diet. It is becoming very common for people to not exercise enough, and even more common for people to be over stressed.
The other common theme running through our society is chronic illness. Strokes, heart attacks, diabetes, cancers and even back pain are all becoming increasingly common ailments. It is becoming so common that people are starting to think it is ‘normal'.
However, things can only be called common, but 'not' normal.
When the body is in a state of optimal health, all systems are in equilibrium and no external manifestations of disequilibrium (symptoms) are apparent. Many of the subtle changes we observe, even in our pets, are early warning signs that there is imbalance existing deep within the body. These are not "diseases" per se but rather are commonly observed deviations from this state of equilibrium.
4 AnswersPhilosophy1 decade agoAre most men of present times "a new generation of women"?
At last, god appeared to humans and said:
"I have come to assess the situation of my creation.
I want men to form two queues - one queue for
men who dominated their women, and the other
for men who were dominated by their women.
Further, I want all the women to go away so that no
man and woman can talk while the queues are formed"
When God came back after a while, the women are gone
and there are two queues. The queue for the men who
were dominated by their women is 100 miles long.
In the other queue, there is only one man.
God got angry and said, "You men should be ashamed
of yourselves. I created you in my image, and you
are not using what you can. Look at the only
one of my sons who stood up in the other queue
and made me proud. Learn from him!"
The men did not give reply.
"Tell them, my son, how did you manage to be the
only one in this queue?"
The man replied, "I do not know sir! My wife told me
to stand here."
6 AnswersPhilosophy1 decade agoHave you heard of any saints of India recently?
Great Indian Saint - Prahlad Jani of Ahmedabad:
Prahlad Jani is an Indian 81 year old sadhu who has claimed to have lived without food and water for the last 70 years. His ability to live without food and water was investigated by doctors at Sterling Hospital, Ahmedabad, Gujarat in 2003 and 2010.[36] The research team reported that he did not consume any food or water during this time, although they could not comment on his claim of having been able to survive in this way for 70 years.[37] The study concluded that Prahlad Jani lived healthily without either food or water, and had passed no urine or stool,[38] with no need for dialysis.[39]
Interviews with the researchers speak of strict observation and relate that round-the-clock observation was ensured by multiple CCTV cameras. Jani was reportedly subjected to multiple medical tests.[37] Jani's only contact with any form of fluid was during gargling and bathing, and the doctors said they measured the fluid that Jani spat out.[8]
The case has attracted criticism, both after 2003 tests and after the recent 2010 tests. Sanal Edamaruku, president of the Indian Rationalist Association, criticized the 2010 experiment for allowing Jani to move out of a certain CCTV camera's field of view, meet devotees and leave the sealed test room to sunbathe. Edamaruku stated that the regular gargling and bathing activities were not sufficiently monitored,[40] and accused Jani of having had some "influential protectors" who denied Edamaruku permission to inspect the project during its operation.[40]
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inedia
Doctors have not found any adverse effects in his body from hunger or dehydration. They think that yoga exercises may have caused Jani’s body to undergo a biological transformation. The researchers said tests found that his brain is equivalent to that of a 25-year-old.
http://www.theepochtimes.com/n2/content/view/35126...
http://sunlightenment.com/discovery-channel-docume...
To assure researchers of no possible intake of water, Prahlad Jani agreed he would not bathe during the medical investigation. Prahlad Jani was permitted a small measured quantity of water to use as a mouthwash. He then spat the water into a beaker to verify that none had been drunk. An ultrasound, which was made of Mr. Jani's bladder twice daily, indicated that there was urine accumulation, which subsequently decreased on its own without passing.

Educated women tend to gravitate to fields such as education, English, psychology, biology, art, history etc which are classified as Humanities. They are somewhat extentions of family caring.
Educated men are much more numerous in physics, mathematics, computer science, and engineering.
