Can Aaron Martin and Porsche be considered are Luxury car brands as well as Sports car brands?
Personally, I have always seen Porsche and Aston Martin as sports car brands exclusively.
But earlier on my brother called them a luxury car brand.
I corrected him by saying they make sports cars, but he corrected me by saying both car brands make coupes, saloons and 4x4 cars too.
So, can Aston Martin and Porsche be considered luxury car brands alongside brands like Audi, Mercedes, Jaguar, BMW, Bentley, ETC or should they be considered sports car brands alongside the likes of Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Bugatti, ETC?
Or are they considered to be both?

Luxury.... sports.... Does not really matter. Not too many people can afford to drive them. Not worth wasting time on.

The term "sports car" become obsolete decades ago, now all these cars come fully loaded with everything from leather seats, sunroof, multi-speaker music system, climate aircond and power/automatic everything, and of course a monster sized gas-guzzling engine, they are quite literally the very opposite of sports cars.

They promote the brand by producing sports versions for the track, but their real business is flogging luxury 'sports' cars that never race. Jaguar used to be considered a racing car at one time (E-types) but there isn't much distinction at that end of the market nowadays.
