Spamming is a reportable violation of YA guidelines, as this was already answered.

Stop playing with her and avoid contact if you don't know how to correct any poor behavior. It's a family dog, and the responsibility of the adults, as minors can't own property, dogs are property, you may help train the dog along with adults, if you wish.

More info. would help in giving you a proper answer, but in general when the dog/puppy? gets silly like this, END THE CONTACT. Say No Biting! Take her outside to empty and back to where she sleeps. This dog needs to learn about consequences for actions. And try not to let the dog get so excited because this is more likely to happen when she does get that way.

Age and breed of the dog would help in answering your question and also how old YOU are and if you are the actual owner of the dog, rather than maybe your parents!

Is the biting aggressive? Or is the dog just excited at being shown attention?

Assuming you do know the difference!!

Playful biting is part of play behavior for a dog that is playing with its peers. Your dog does not see you as an alpha, and therefore, thinks it's okay to nip at you. You need to learn to assert dominance over your dog first before you start to play with her again. She needs to learn to obey your commands and submit to your authority.
