Is going to college to do painting and decorating course late at 30?

I feel I have wasted my 20s suffering anxiety depression and doing a family job I run business I don't like. I feel like I need a career change, something different.

I been redoing my great aunt's house lately, plastering, removing and replacing wallpaper painting etc.

With the help of YouTube..

I enjoy doing this.

But I feel I might be late now. I'm 29 now, 30 in 2 months.

Even going abroad to study?

Or doing some apprenticeship or workibg with a qualified painting and decorator like handyman kind of thing?

Be aware that doing a project for a family member may not be the same experience as doing it for demanding, sometimes unreasonable, paying clients.

But, if you want to check it out, find someone who is experienced and ask if they would consider hiring you as an assistant. Make sure they know that you don't want to be put on jobs by yourself, but that you want to learn how to do things properly.

No, you will find lots of people do not learn to decorate until they are older. A good way to learn how to work for yourself.
