Is it ok to switch footy (AFL) teams?

I'm 14 and I have been raised as a Collingwood supporter.

But I hate it.

I hate the atmosphere around the club, I hate the bogan supporters. I even hate the colours.

I attended the North vs Pies game a few weeks ago and I was generally supporting North in my head.

If you want. Also @Jaiden, GO THE LIONS, THE BRISBANE LIONS!

Definitely! Better to follow a team you can enjoy supporting than just supporting Collingwood because your family does

I recently did, for too many reasons..

Collingwood's the best team in the league, when I was a kid I used to get teased for being a Collingwood supporter but I never let that get to me. Usually if you move teams you'll be considered a "traitor" but if it makes you happy just do it

Only if it is definitely not for reasons of following a more successful club in place of a less successful club.

There is no obligation for you to remain a Collingwood supporter, if the allegiance and love for the team is not for you. Listen to your intuition and if you following North Melbourne or another AFL team feels right, go for it and enjoy!

Perfectly OK and when it comes to Collingwood, the sooner the better. I wouldn't transfer allegiance to North, however, it is just as bogan as Collingwood.

    Yes it is
