Muslim is a relgion not a 'race' just because other family members now and in the past may have been Muslims does not mean you are or have to be.

Indeed religion is not a matter of race or ethnicity, so I suspect that you are trolling. Nobody can "tell you" that you are a Muslim, a fact of which you had been ignorant until that moment.
