Rank these car manufacturers in order from best to worst, taking into account the quality, luxury, reliability, aesthetics, technology, practicality, safety, power and handling.

In no particular order, here they are: Audi, Jaguar, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Volvo, BMW, Ford and Lexus.

    Can't be done. Which model? Which year? Otherwise, all these manufacturers can lay claim to excellent cars AND the atrocious ones.

    Read Consumer reports instead of canvassing opinions in a forum like this. That will give you well researched data.

    Here's how Consumer Reports ranked them in April 2018, based on the factors you mentioned:

    Audi -- #2 after Genesis

    BMW -- #3

    Lexus -- #4

    Mercedes -- #15

    Volkswagen -- #16

    Volvo -- #18

    Ford -- #20

    Jaguar -- #29 out of 34 brands
