Did people develop language so they could tell each other stories?

    communications..simple realy.......your thinking in our mentl inteligence stage...back then they used noises, hand signals...did you know they belive the first words where cuss words...look it up..cuss words are emotinal words....

    Not at first, no. Language was first developed to give humans a tactical advantage over other species. If it is possible to communicate by means that other animals don't understand, that makes it easier to outwit them.
