I don't understand how the slides are played...
Is the first /5 played from the last note in the previous verse?
How do you move from 5~ to /5 for the second one? It's the same fret??

You need to exercise your own judgement as to the starting notes of these slides, which are typically one or two frets lower than the final pitch.
