Christians, is there any verse in the bible that you disagree with or believe is incorrect?

If so, what is the objection and what is the verse?

When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.”

    John 8:7

This verse was added in a few centuries later. It doesn't mean it didn't happen but it isn't reliable enough to say it did.

  • The Instruction of God to those of The Body of His Church.. which is found in most Bibles in use today... is correct... but only open to those of The Body..... those not of The Body may read from a Bible....... but if they are not open to The Truth of what God is offering... they will remain ignorant of The Truth.............. there are other things within The Bible that are not The Instruction...... history, genealogy, and words of men faithful to God.... those can be, and are, subjects of disagreement....... those of God's Church are not to engage is such debates or arguments....  we may offer our positions.... but not to impose our interpretations on non-instructional issues....

A Christian is a follower of Christ. To be a follower of Christ, a person must follow Christ. To disagree with God's WORD, would be a disagreement with God Himself. If a person claims to be a Christian, and they are not following Christ, then they are not Christian. They have deceived themselves into being something they are not. Is there a Christian that is 100% correct in their theology? No! Are there some hard sayings in Scripture? Yes! But to modify God’s WORD or create a god that pleases me is called Idolatry.

Sure. Copyist errors, poor choices in translator's options. Stuff that I can ferret out or that has been ferreted out for me. Like Romans 8:1 in the King James. They added to it to include a part of verse 4. That was an error.
