    Kansas population 2.9 million.

    California population 40 million

If you were homeless, wouldn’t you move to California where the weather is nicer.

It never gets so cold that you need a coat and when it’s hot, it’s not humid and suffocating. Kansas winter can get belong 0 and the summer is hot and humid.

    There’s also the illegals.

June 2018 numbers: you got Kansas right, at 3.4%. But California is at 4.2%, not "close to 5".

Both states are at or near historic lows, which is something to celebrate.

I might speculate that the different numbers for "full employment" reflect the Labor Force Participation Rate. That's going to be affected by the population demographic. Kansas skews older than California, and likely has a greater part of the non-working population classified as "Not In Labor Force" by virtue of retirement. But I'd have to take a closer look at the raw data to be sure.

There are more people in LA alone than there are in the entire state of Kansas. Those complaining about Kalifornia (with good reason) hopefully have seen the news that Kobach has been declared the winner of the primary... so the sh!thole status of Kansas is going to get even worse.

If I was a businessman I would not operate in Kalifornia. LOL
