Can connect to second router but no internet?
Hello. Before I ask my initial question, I'll explain the setup and background.
I am helping a business fix their internet after a camper reported that the internet had gone out. I went to check, and sure enough, I could connect to the network wirelessly, but there was no internet connection. We bought a new router and replaced them, so the following setup is the current setup:
In their house, the internet connects to the modem. The modem (ARRIS TM1602) connects to the router's (NETGEAR R7000) WAN connection port via a yellow ethernet cable. Out of the 4 available ethernet ports, 3 are used. The first goes to the house computer, the second one to the printer, and the third runs all the way up to their park into a switch (NETGEAR FS105). From this switch runs another ethernet cable into a gazebo about 15 feet away and into that router's (Sagemcom) WAN port.
The WAN light is green on the Sagemcom router, however I still receive no internet connectivity (other than being able to connect to the router itself). I can connect to the IP via a web browser and configure the router, see devices connected to the router, etc. They all say the WAN is enabled.
The only difference I'm skeptical of is the IP difference. The router read 192.168.1.19 while my phone read 192.168.1.6. If any more information is needed just ask and I'll get it to you ASAP.
Thanks in advance.

in windows type in IPCONFIG/ALL in a CMD.exe box. it will show IP stuff but the internet is the GATEWAY setting if its zeros its not there yet. There are different ways to Daisy chain routers. the simplest is to have router1 be normal at 192.168.1.XXX and router 2 as 192.168.2.XXX so router 2 has a different STARTING IP of 192.168.2 that you need to set in its configuration and apply it. Then bothe routers can set their gateways to whatever it would normally be eg 192.168.1.1(which is normal) and that should work. this way is simple but can create issues for file sharing between a pc on router 1 and pc on router2. the issue being cured by adjusting the MASK which is usually 255.255.255.000 which keeps the two networks separate. *** so just to be clear routers daisy chained are connected router A --> router B Wan input sockets. thus all your routers need to have WAN inputs. ie Modem-->wan1--Router1-->wan2 (router2) which it sounds like you are doing. an ordinary(no wan) router is no good for daisy chaining unless its firmware is altered to cope with a different sort of configuration method.

In this scenario, you're double nat'ing. Never a good idea, but if it's necessary, you need to change the subnet of the LAN side of the camper router.
If the WAN IP on the camper router is 192.168.1.x, the DHCP server on the camper router needs to be changed to anything but 192.168.1.x (i.e. 192.168.2.x).

If using the WAN port of the sagemcom router, it must be set to a different subnet than the original router. The WAN can be set to DHCP, so it will be in the 192.168.1.x subnet, but that second router should be set to something different itself, like 192.168.2.1

First, verify that the house computer can access the internet. If not, then reset the modem - most often by pulling the power cable for 10 seconds or so. If it does get internet in the house, next step is to test the ethernet cable running to the sagemore router. If you don't have a tester, as most of us don't, disconnect the line from the sagemore router and plug it into a laptop. Make sure the wifi is turned off on the laptop. If no internet, then try a new cable. If internet, try resetting the sagemore router. Good luck.

Connect directly to the internet gateway (what you call the modem) by cable, with your computer. Do you have internet connection directly from the "modem"?
Eliminate as many possibilities first. You may have to have your ISP log into your modem to make sure it is connected to the internet and is working correctly. Then connect your routers and such after you have confirmed that your "modem" is connected to the internet and is working correctly.
