Prefer road running, farthest I've ran currently is 8 miles, but I prefer 5-6 usually

trail and track, about 1 to two miles

Trail running is my go to, but I run on the road when I can’t get out to the trails
I don’t really have a typical distance at the moment due to my training plan changing my mileage regularly. It’ll be anywhere from 3-15 miles depending on the type of run. Six miles is my comfort zone at the moment but I’m always working to build on that as I’d like to get into ultras down the road (or trail, lol)

I run tracks and roads. I like roads for a challenge and good training and tracks to keep a consistent pace.

I'm getting back into road running which I liked doing. I have to do it in the morning before I go to work.
If I have time I will do 5 K, if not then a 2-3 K during the week and 4-5 K on the weekend. I'm walking all day in my workplace so I don't want to wear myself out too much before I go to work.

I'm a road runner. I'm currently doing 5 miles every other day, with longer runs on weekends. A Sunday run can be up to 17 miles.
I said "currently" because my distance varies. I typically have lower mileage in the winter and higher in the summer. If I train for a marathon, my distance would gradually increase and peak about 4 weeks before the marathon.
I'm a road runner. At the distances I run, I would find a track boring. I don't run trails as there are not many trails in the area. I do enjoy running on the recreation trails, but they are paved, so I regard that as road running.

I've actually never run track or trail. I've only ever been a 'road' runner (concrete or asphalt, although I avoid concrete these days). Trail running sounds interesting and i wouldn't mind trying it, but I've got a gimpy knee and have a fear of falling and injuring it again (had 2 knee surgeries since 2014). Track running seems boring and I'm not very speedy, so winding through the neighborhood suits be better in terms of keeping me from getting bored (I need changing scenery).

I prefer trail running, but I'm not currently in great shape so I'm sticking to the roads while I build mileage. I'm currently doing 3 or 4 miles, 4 or 5 days each week, with the occasional 5 or 6 mile run thrown in.
