It's best to wait before TTC coming off the pill - hormonal birth control impacts your bodies ability to absorb and utilize nutrients so it can be beneficial to look at making up for that with a good diet for a while before TTC in order to increase chances of a successful pregnancy, in that time your body can regulate and you can learn Fertility Awareness Method to increase chances.
On the pill you didn't get a period full-top - the whole point of being on the pill was to stop your menstrual cycle so you didn't ovulate, and s you didn't ovulate you didn't menstruate - on the pill the bleeding you experienced was a withdrawal bleed due to the drop in synthetic hormones during your week break, they were lighter than menstruation as the pill stops secondary uterine lining build-up. Coming off the pill your normal periods will return, they may be heavier and more difficult initially as hormones regulate (another reason to work on a healthy diet, this will help your hormones regulate quicker coming off the pill).
Your fist bleed off the pill will be a withdrawal bleed and would behave the same as other withdrawal bleeds, but no one can tell you what your periods will be like from here because everyone is different - it may take time before you start menstruating again (if you don't menstruate within three months see your doctor) and it may be up to twelve months before they regulate.
How long you were on the pill, how old you were when you started (obviously if you started suppressing your menstrual cycles during puberty before they had a chance to regulate they may be more irregular coming off the pill again), and your overall health will make a big impact on how quickly your cycles regulate and whether you'll expedience menstrual problems.

You will have the same period when you stop, but for everything after that you will just have to wait and see.
Your cycle will likely change as your natural hormone cycle resumes and you start to ovulate and menstruate again. It may take a month or two or three for your cycle to settle down again.
Best of luck TTC

ok, here comes an advice. Your body (and the body of your husband) are contaminated. The pill (to mention), chemical cleaner, plastic, oil particles, alcohol, junk food, heavy metals, GMO....the list is endless. Detox to clean up your body or all the poison gets into the embryo and lead to miscarriage or sudden crib death.
