Why aren't my notifications on YA working?

Notifications is down for some users and we don't know why. About the time some users started to ask about it being down, a couple of weeks ago or so, other users were still getting notifications on their YA page (/notifications). Mine are working (I checked before I posted this).

Notification emails for the site have were down for many months, other than a brief period this past spring, and then returned in early August. I'm not sure if everyone is still receiving the email notifications or not, but I still was over the weekend.

No one here knows what the reason for the notifications being down is or when they'll be working again. Sorry. Just another glitch/issue we have to live with until it's fixed.

It DOES work, sometimes. Those who say it does not can only speak for themselves.

It hasn’t worked for a week now. Yahoo has lost a lot of good technicians since Verizon bought them out.
