Should I be worried that I have a dry mouth?

For the past week my mouth has been feeling dry and like there is not enough saliva. My lips and throat feel fine its mainly just my tounge. I have no trouble speaking and when I eat it stops being dry but as a while after I stop eating it comes back. I have had this before at the beginning of the year. My mouth was dry for about a week then everything retured to normal. Should I be very worried? I have no other symptoms of being ill

Are you sensitive to changes in the weather? I never have dryness in the summertime; but when the weather turns cold, I dry out until I adjust to it.

I don't think you need to be "very" worried, but you should discuss this with a dentist. Dry mouth is not a good thing for your gums and teeth and it could result from a medical condition. You should probably have it investigated.

Are you anywhere out west where you are affected by the wildfire smoke/terrible air quality?
