    Hi so go to the post office and get a form you will need an MOT certificate if is over 3 years old. and insurance cover note along with money.

    In the US, you don't. Your state government body that handles transfers of title for vehicles and vehicle registration imposes whatever taxes and fees are applicable and then collects them from the buyer and/or registerer.
