I need help taxing a vehicle? (UK)?

So basically my Gran is lending me her car. My understanding is that we need to complete the V5C form and send this off to the DVLA to transfer it into my name. Then I can tax is online. However, because she has a disabled badge (and I don't) i think the tax class has to be changed? I'm quite confused so if anyone can help explain this to me that would be great!

Changing a vehicles tax from disabled to regular can only be done at the post office.

Take all your paperwork to a post office near you which deals in car tax and ask them.

We don't get a tax reduction for a blue badge. The blue badge card is in her name not the car. It means she can use it in anyone's car. My husband has one,

Just complete the V5 and send it off.

She can use her badge when you take her for a ride.

Is she getting the higher rate of disability, if not her car tax is normal.

Don't waste your time on this website. Ask the DVLA, and don't forget to include all the necessary details. The DVLA people don't mind your asking, because they want you to get it right, and save them some hassle.
