As long as you specify 'save as' to put them there. I usually save to desktop, then edit and drag to the folder where I need to put them finally.

Yes you will if the program you are using to transfer from your unknown mobile phone defaults to putting them there if first creating a folder called gallery.
Most programs for this action usually defaults to putting photos into Pictures or mypictures.in your user on a windows P.C.
What phone have you got what program are you using and what P.C have you got
