Math question! Thank you?
I'm a little confused
how would I find the slope intercept formula when there is not slope?
ex: the Point is (3,-4) slope is 0
please help

If the slope is 0, you are talking about a horizontal line, in which the y coordinate of every point on the line is the same. The sample point you provided is (3,-4). Therefore, the y coordinate = -4. Therefore, the equation for the line is y = -4.
In slope-intercept form, this would be y = mx + b... but there is no "x" term, because the slope ("m") is always zero, so the quantity mx also = 0. That leaves only y = b, and the y-intercept = -4, because y ALWAYS = -4.

y = mx + b
Since the slope m = 0
y = 0x + b
y = b
Which is a horizontal line
A Horizontal line always has the same y coordinate, both at the y-intercept, b, and at all points
The y coordinate of (3, -4) is -4.
