im thinking of studying to be a dental hygienist. Should I consider it?

    If that is your passion then I would say go for it. :) Do what you love and not what pays the most money. Good luck.

    I think that would work out well. The only thing is some people do not like working in other people's mouths. They think it is so gross or something. I think

    most women that get into it, like it. I have not seen the male dental hygienist.

    You are the only person that knows what type of career will make you happy. Its not the most exciting job in the world cleaning people's teeth and you are n your feet all day. But it pays a pretty good salary and you only need 2 years of school - so there's a pretty good pay off for the money spent on school. Plus, the work atmosphere is usually pleasant. You can also get a job just about anywhere, which helps if you end up with a spouse that lives somewhere else or has a job that requires moving.
