Can you burn purchased audio on Amazon to a CD?

I purchased an album on Amazon and I want to burn the MP3 files to a CD; however, I have been unable to. I am not sure why. I have a Mac, the audio is in MP3 format, and I am using CD-R blank discs...why won't it work? Suggestions?

    It's DRM protected. Removing that would be a breach of the terms of service. That being said you would need to use something to dub a recording of which there are plenty of.
