What is the difference between video, audio, and sound editor?
Hello yahooers I’ve gotten three type of editor, and I wanted to know if it’s neccesary to have an audio editor like fl_studio if you already have an sound editor. Or vice versa.

fl studio is not an audio editor as much as a multitrack arrangement software.
Audacity would be an editor.
Video editor is more for video, with few audio options.
sound and audio editor is the same thing.

an audio editor and a sound editor would both be doing more or less the same thing; manipulating sound files. that doesn't mean they're absolutely equivalent though. every program is different. they don't necessarily both work on the same set of audio file formats. they don't necessarily have the same set of functions they can perform on files. one of them might be a lot more powerful than the other in these way or others. both might have capabilities the other one doesn't. you'd need to evaluate and compare them and decide if you don't need one or the other based on this kind of thing

Usually video editors focus more on editing videos with sounds attached to those videos but audio editors normally focus on editing audio only. Such as when you edit a video to slow it down and you edit the sound to go slower while audio editors you can focus on editing sounds sorry if i didnt answer your question
