My phone has come up saying Google Play services have stopped, or Gmail has stopped etc. HTC Desire 530?
Apps have deleted stuff, like I had a random name picker app that had stuff on it, all the stuff on that has been deleted.
Facebook and Messenger have had to be proper updated.
The messages saying they've stopped constantly come up. I can't use any apps i've downloaded as they need Google Play, which has crashed.
Why has this happened and how do I fix it, apart from doing factory reset which deletes everything.

Try removing your Google account from the phone and then add it back.
Go to apkmirror.com and download The Google play services apk.
