Can garlic cause burns or something?? I was cutting garlic for an hour and a half and now my finger tips are stinging?

    Yes, it can, the chemical that gives it that special something is also a little on the nasty side. Search "garlic burn" for examples.

    Treat it with an ice water soak and your favorite burn remedies.

    Garlic is strong stuff. It's alkaline. So dip your fingers into vinegar for a minute then rinse off with water. That should work.
