What should I do with my future?
PLEASE HELP!! I’m in high school, I’m a sophomore and I’m really stressing over my future. My main goal is to own a skating rink as lame as it sounds, but that’s my dream. The problem is my family doesn’t have any money for me to pay for my skating rink. At most a rink is going to cost about 150k. My plan was to become a pharmacist and gain enough money to pay for my rink and my house etc. The problem also is time, a pharmacist is about 8 years after college and I’ll be about 26 when I get out, then I’m going to save up for about 2 years and then go back to school to get my degree in business, I’ll be about 32 by then. I don’t wanna be that old by then, I wanna have a husband and a kid by then already. I’m in many clubs and I’m trying many ways to hopefully get scholarships. I thought about just going to business school and getting money from the bank, but I’m scared of getting in debt with banks and that. If you have any tips, any professions I can be or anything at all please respond. Thank you !!

Dreams are great however they need some reality to come true and the fact that is 2yrs time or 4yrs tine those dreams will certainky change as you get older, wiser and understand life a little more.......... It makes no difference what income bracket your family is in, it isn't their dream, it is yours, so it isn't them who need to fund it.
Education is the key to any success in life, it opens the door to a good career and earning money so set your goals on achieving as said your dream will change when other things become more important in your life and if they don't and in 5 ...10 yrs time your dream is the same, then great you will be older, wiser, working and earning and you set to then and make it a reality......... stop stressing it is unnecessary

Even if your family DID have the money to buy you a skating rink, there's no reason they SHOULD, owning one is an adult thing and you should pay for it. Becoming a pharmacist to earn good money sounds like a good plan. Are you sure about that $150k though? Sounds awfully cheap.

What about buying a commercial skating rink. Work at one. Learn the business. Look at other real estate investment to gadget collateral and do everything to look attractive to a bank for a business (SBA) loan. I agree that by the time you become a pharmacist you probably will not have time to enjoy your rink and then you will have student loans and be busy with a family before you start looking at 40.
