Is China capable of invading the U.S.?

They have the Second Best military in the world and by far the most reserve soldiers than any other country except maybe India. How would the U.S. afford a war with their debt ?

    No. Militarily, China is just a regional power. They have no forward bases they could use to stage an invasion of the mainland US.

    I don't believe so. They would have to first get past the U.S. Navy, which is very unlikely. Then you add all the other military branches, plus the fact that the US population is the most armed on the planet. It would be a massive loss of life for China.

    Not worth it, IMO.

    Could they invade? Possibly. Successfully? Nah
