What are the values for x2, x3 and x4?
Hello, I'd like to ask a question on how to solve for the above variables.
I'm currently on my last attempt and don't know why my previous answer was wrong.
x1, x5, and x6 are correct.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

.
x₆ = -6
x₅ = -27
Since x₁ + 2x₂ + 8x₃ - 7x₄ = 192
then;
x₁ = 192 - 2x₂ - 8x₃ + 7x₄
x₂ = 96 - ½x₁ - 4x₃ + 7x₄/2
x₃ = 24 - ⅛x₁ - ¼x₂ + ⅞x₄
x₄ = 192/7 - x₁/7 - 2x₂/7 - 8x₃/7

You should put bracket. Otherwise,it shows the division is for the last term only. If you put bracket from the beginning to the end and put the division sign and put the number. Your answer will be correct. Always the division and multiplication is doe first. If there is a bracket then it will be done first. You can put can put the equation in your calculator with the bracket and without bracket see the difference.
