Call the highway Patrol. They'd rather give you the right info than bust you for being ignorant.

Locally the law says crossing road with unlicensed vehicle, unequipped is by acting as pedestrian, push the motorcycle, ATV or in some case bicycle across roadway if not marked for bicycle. I've seen the cycle and ATV trails at edge of town with stop lights/stop signs- riders stop at end of trail, dismount and cross when traffic stop at light change by pushing- then they are not 'vehicle operators' but 'Pedestrians' with cargo/load/carriage/wheel barrows/wagons pulled or pushed by manpower. federal laws have 'suggestions' for states and standards/guidlines in UMTCD- Uniform Manual Traffic Control Device.

Cannot be on the road at all withdout a motorcycle drivers license.

You CANNOT "drive on road" on a dirt bike with a driver license, unless the dirt bike has been made street legal with lights, turn signals, horn, brake lights etc. And it's registered with a license plate.

The only place I know of where you can (legally) cross a paved road on your bike is in a "off road vehicle recreation area" where a dirt road, or sand highway intersects with a paved road. You must go straight across the paved road, and only when it's safe to do so.

Not while sitting on the seat. You have to walk the bike across any roads.

No, you cannot cross the road without license. It is illegal. You can be penalized for it.

The ONLY way you can LEGALLY cross a street or highway with an unlicensed dirt bike is to get off the bike and PUSH it across the road as a pedestrian. Of course, nobody does this, but don't cry when you get caught and get a ticket.

No, dirt bikes are not street legal and not allowed on public streets.

what part of needing a licenxce to ride on the road don't you understand. Down the road up the road or across the road is still needing a licence to ride on the road
