Who`s to blame?

If dads raise their daughters telling them that guys are bad, only want one thing, and can`t be trusted, and those girls grow up to be women who don`t like men, and think they only want one thing, that they are bad guys who can`t be trusted,.....who`s to blame? Feminists?

i'm with vote_libertarian up there. that's just bad parenting.

I've raised two step-daughters. I speak from experience when I say the way to do it is to be a role model of "non-toxic" masculinity. this begins with honesty, a strong work ethic, and self-control.

follow that up with warmth, love, affection, nurturing, and protectiveness. she will learn all on her own that not all males are to be trusted and it may break her heart. when it happens, a father should let his daughter lean on his strength for comfort.

little girls are naturally responsive to their fathers and look to them for protection and guidance. if a man models the right kind of behavior, his daughter will naturally look for those kinds of behaviors in the men she becomes attracted to as she grows into a woman.

not all men are to be trusted, this is true... but not all men are to be distrusted, either.

the catch-22 of this situation is the only way to know if someone is trustworthy is to trust them.

Yeah, that's a really good point. #GuysLikeSex - I remember a story in the news 5-6-10 years ago where a dad was basically making headlines for writing his daughter a letter for the future where he basically said 'don't be afraid to have sex' - cuz somewhere along the way Bitchez did stop liking sex - if they ever did. @GirlsDon't

No those dads are telling the truth because they know men are trash from when they were younger.
