need advice!?
i've started taking an after-school gcse drama class. i threw myself into it and had a lot of fun with it but all of the sudden ive lost my interest. it's not what i was expecting. i was told (by the teacher) that it would include some prop design, costume design or set design but we're pretty far in and none have come up.
those were the reasons i took the class and without them, i don't see any reason to go. i also took the class to gain some confidence but it's not really helping. the whole thing is making me panic and losing interest is making me upset.
i don't know whether i should stick my head down, do the work, get through the performances and get a grade or quit for my mental health.
should i try to talk to my teacher about losing interest?

Talk to your teacher. Tell him you're interested in prop, costume and set design and was wondering if you could start working on that. It would be a shame to quit now.

Yes, definately talk to your teacher. This course may not be what you like, but you have undoubtfully expressed interest in other parts of Drama. Perhaps take another Drama course or even a class outside of school. Drama is not an essential credit - it is an elective. These electives should either be something you like or a prerequisite course. Just change while you have the chance
