'dikes' actually dykes and queers are women and men who are sexually attracted to their own sex. period. Lesbians can be really butch and really feminine and everything in between. Gay men can be rather effeminate or really macho and everything in between.

Maybe try not pigeonholing everybody; just accept them for who they are.

Pretty tough to have a definitive answer because of the five million genders that are out there in certain corners of the progressive internet, but to me, nah. Feminine and masculine are adjectives that can apply to anyone. Who you like and whether you flap your wrists or have a butch haircut are somewhat related, because it sends a signal, but ain't the definitive tell. You never know until the pants come off and maybe not even then. When in doubt, just be polite and assume that being impolite will cause you to be given a giant wedgie. Then you will treat people right.

The opposite of d!kes is f@gs, bozo, not qveers. "Qveers" means both d!kes and f@gs. As for femininity or masculinity or some "kinda sorta a different sex," you do know that what makes qveers qveer isn't our manner but who we're hot for, don't you? Because I'll be gobsmacked if we've somehow blundered that in our message. So with that in mind, pray tell what "kinda sorta a different sex" do you imagine the d!kes and f@gs collectively fall into? I can't wait to hear this.

The correct terms would be. Lesbian and gays. Are you asking a question or are you trying to offend?
