How can I get off Xanax?
I take 0.75mg daily and have for about 6 months. At such a low dose I may not have major withdrawal symptoms but because I’ve been on it for so long it might be a problem. I can’t see my doctor for 3 more weeks and the Xanax is making me unable to think clearly or remember simple things.

You need an anti convulsant to get off benzos. Lithium helped me off Klonopin. I had to figure that out for myself and fight my so called doctor, to not go on Abilify from the bad effects from the benzo. Then I had to fight him that the withdraw was withdraw. They refuse to acknowledge that benzos do any wrong.
Theres a site called benzo buddies that can help you out with wean doses. The doctor doesn't think he should have to do that usually either.
Benzos are the shrinks devils candy to hook you.
There you go, I helped you more than a lying, thieving $600 an hour crook.

Well the obvious answer is to stop taking them. Yes, you're going to have some withdrawals but suck it up and get through it. If you can't do it alone, then it's OK to ask for help in the real world (either from a friend, trusted family member or professional - your choice).
