RECOVERY TIME AFTER ANTERIOR HIP REPLACEMENT?

I just got a hip replacement on Wednesday and wanted to know what others thought about the recovery process post opt surgery. I am experiencing a lot of tightness around my hip. I am just wondering if I could pull anything out of place by excerting to much pressure on the leg I had the hip replacement on?

Surely your Surgeon gave you info about what to do and what to avoid, we do in the U.K.

    Are you still in hospital?

Yes...be careful!!! Do not even cross your legs for three months.

Ask your doctor for all you can and can't do.

In six months, you'll feel great, in a year you'll wonder why you waited to have the surgery
