What age are we talking about? In today's economy the average young person who wants to move out of their parent's house will have a room mate. rents are crazy high. That doesn't necessarily make them a bad person. And courtesy costs nothing, but there are rich people who have none.

When I met my husband he was paying off a school loan and living with 2 other people because a 1 bedroom costs 1000 a month but a 3 bedroom was only 1200. easier to split the rent 3 ways and still have money for a car payment and a life than it would be to pay the 1000 on your own and starve. Just because a person doesn't live alone doesn't mean they have no courtesy or are a bad person. I'm glad I didn't think like you and pass him by just because he didn't own a house yet.

Are you sure you are looking for a good man? or are you just looking for a man who can pay your bills?

I can think of at least 20 single men (ages 18 & up) who fall into this category. Maybe you should change where you are looking. Have you thought about meeting someone through friends, going to church, college to help further your education and so on?
